What is Expo Real?

The largest international trade fair for real estate and investment has been held annually at the Munich Trade Fair Center since 1998. It covers all topics and areas of activity relating to the real estate sector, ranging from the idea and conception, investment and financing to the marketing and use of real estate. Prospective real estate buyers and owners will find all providers along the entire real estate value chain in one place. Exhibitors from a wide range of sectors are represented.

When is the fair held?

In 2021, the fair was held in Munich from October 11 to 13. The exact dates of Expo Real 2022 are pending at this time.

What is the structure of the fair?

The exhibition areas include all sub-sectors that are directly related to the real estate industry. These include representatives from the areas of investment, financing, development, services as well as location operators, economic regions and IT. Media such as trade journals, universities and other educational institutions that provide training and further education in the real estate sector, as well as software companies with digital concepts for the real estate industry are also represented on site. The digital solutions differentiate between the areas of planning and building, operating and managing.

Which exhibitors will be guests?

Exhibitors include real estate investors and financiers such as banks and credit institutions, service providers, real estate operators and representatives of locations, economic regions, information technology companies as well as training and further education institutions and real estate associations. In addition, there will be suppliers from the media sector and of digital solutions and products developed specifically for the real estate industry. Visitors to the fair will thus have the opportunity to establish industry contacts for a wide range of service fields. This year, due to the current travel situation, the focus is primarily on companies within Germany, but international contacts are still represented as well. In total, you will find 1183 exhibitors at the fair, which are also listed in the Expo Real exhibitor directory.

What are the benefits of a visit?

Participation in the trade fair is the ideal starting point for making new contacts, initiating projects and entering into a direct and personal exchange with business partners and customers. In addition, it offers the unique opportunity of short walking distances, because all contacts along the life cycle of a property are gathered here in one place. All segments and market representatives of the real estate industry can be found at the fair in one of the five halls. This is accompanied by a varied conference program in which important and current topics are addressed and discussed in detail with all the industry players involved. This advantage is also reflected in the satisfaction of visitors to previous trade fairs, who look back on the topics of networking and establishing contacts during the trade fair as particularly positive.
